Downtown Dallas
Rooftopping in Dallas: Downtown – U.S.A.
Dallas is the third largest city in Texas, and by most measures a fairly average place to live. I recently made a trip downtown with a friend to see if we could get any good pictures.
Sometimes things just pan out, and I ended up getting in the first place I went to. I’m not sure exactly how popular rooftopping in Dallas is, but if the walls preceding the roof are any indication, then I’m definitely not alone.
It’s always interesting to see what people have written and experienced before you as you approach the entry of a roof. Some of it is philosophical, “In life we find equilibrium in love, peace, and exploration of ourselves,” and some of it a bit more ominous…
I don’t typically write anything on walls, and after reading some of the writing we made our way to the roof.
While on the roof we heard some muffled voices and of course we thought it was security at first, but it ended up being a bunch of high school girls who came to check the roof out as well. So with that being said, this place is definitely easy to get into, and the view is well worth it.

Where can i go rooftopping? Which buildings?
Midnight August 8, 2015 at 01:02
It’s trial and error, many of the places shown are not so easy to get into anymore. Find a building you like and give it a try.

What was the building? Were you still able to access it?
Midnight August 23, 2016 at 15:07
Big hotel in Downtown, there’s a few hints already in the comments.
I revisited last year, but it was inaccessible at the time. If you find otherwise, it would be good to know!
Kenzie August 21, 2016 at 03:53

Luis Hernandez July 24, 2017 at 20:46
I would like to know the place of the building and if it’s still accessible. My guess would be the Sheraton Hotel or the Peagusus plaza.
Midnight July 27, 2017 at 00:18
I’m not sure if it’s still accessible, and let’s just say it’s not the Peagusus plaza.
Johnny February 8, 2018 at 12:08

Thanks man! I’m honestly not sure, I haven’t been there in some time.
I tried going back early 2017 and the usual way was locked up. I’m sure it depends a lot on your luck and persistence.
Mely January 25, 2019 at 07:49
Your gallery is amazing! Always wanted to do some rooftop photoshoots. Could you tell me which buildings are accessible or how to possibly get on some rooftops? I really appreciate it! Dope shot of the subject set btw!
